La Tanière - Samoëns - Superb 4 bed apartment close to the center

February 2025: Spent a very happy week skiing the Grand Massif. The apartment was perfect after a great day's skiing - just 200m from the centre of Samoens but far enough away for a little peace. As well as being a very comfortable place to stay with 3 good sized double bedrooms, it is homely and well presented. Furthermore all questions we had and any advice we sought were picked up and answered swiftly and warmly. It all made for a very memorable holiday in a lovely part of the Alps, which we will return to

January 2025: Had an amazing stay over the new year, the place was so pretty 😍 close to the village and beautiful views

March 2024: Lovely apartment, walking distance to town and a short drive to the gondola. We had a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space, the kitchen had a small stock of oil, herbs and dishwasher tablets. The token arrival hamper was very much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was clean and tidy. The check in videos and photos were great and made the whole process very easy. Would definitely return.

February 2024: A fabulous apartment with spectacular views. Plenty of space for 6 adults on a mini ski break. A well equipped kitchen and a very comfy lounge area to rest our tired legs! Huge balcony which we were lucky enough to be able to sit out on thanks to the unusual warm weather. Short walk into the village where there are plenty of eating/drinking options. Highly recommended!

February 2024: Very nice chalet with beautiful view over Samoens & the mountains. Well equipped kitchen. Easily walkable to the village. To get to the grand massif express lift we chose to drive rather than the long walk or two buses. We always found parking. Great place for two families of 4. Highly recommended

February 2024: great chalet with a fantastic view across the valley. communication from the owner and the local agent was top notch. even went out and picked a few bits up for us as we were arriving late.
Well equipped and warm, we were looking forward to stoking up the log burner, but we didn't need to as radiators were more than enough to keep warm.
Short walk down the hill into town, a little further to the ski gondola, gave the legs a warm up before the skiing.
The town has a few nice pubs, the restaurants get busy though. so best to book.
We had a great trip and may book again next year as the ski area is huge and we only explored about half of it.

January 2024: Christian was an incredible host! His Chalet was beyond a dream, and comfortable fit myself and my 3 friends. He was friendly, and very thoughtful about us being comfortable during our stay. The Chalet has everything, and is the perfect place to be after a long day of skiing or walking around town. Centrally located, but high enough to have one of the most stunning views of Samoens. I couldn't recommend this chalet enough!

January 2024: Christian’s place is a gem in front of the Grand Massif skiing area. It is comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was above our expectations.
If we get back to Samoens, we will definitely go back there!

August 2023: We enjoyed this house very much. The house is well equipped with modern and high quality furnishings, as well as very nice roll down shutters to keep the house cooler during the day. The kitchen was very well stocked with essentials and more than enough mixing bowls, pots and pans. It is such a short walk into town which meant we didn’t need to drive our car, which we loved. There is a garage with room for our car and lots of storage for bikes or skis. We loved the balcony and our view, however in the heat of the summer it’s not easy to be out there until quite late in the evening. Our south facing bedroom upstairs was a little warm at night, so we would suggest a fan for these hottest weeks of summer. We rent mountain houses in France every summer and this is always a problem when the bedrooms are upstairs. We would recommend to friends and we would stay here again! Thanks for a great week in Samoëns!

July 2023: Great apartment in beautiful location. Great communication accommodating an early arrival with no fuss. Really enjoyed our time here. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful town of Samoens, Couldn’t have been any better.

January 2023: This is a perfectly located beautiful apartment, there was nothing missing that we needed and we loved staying there. it was big enough for our family of 6 adults to share space and have our own space too. the view is stunning. would definitely stay here again

February 2022: Beautiful perfectly furnished accommodation, the kitchen is very well equipped up to the plunging blender for soups ! The wood burning stove is lovely. We could easily park every day in the parking lot near the Grand Massif before climbing to the slopes. Many of the restaurants in the village are taken over in the evening, remember to book in advance ...

February 2022: Great stay in a lovely very warm apartment.

January 2022: The apartment La Tanière is very comfortable, spacious and cozy. The view is beautiful and allows you to have the sun all day in the living room. It's possible to eat on the balcony.
The cottage is very close to the center. On the other hand, it is easier to access the gondola by car, more convenient than ski bus shuttles, especially since the rental includes a garage.
We spent a week as a family with our three adult children; only the twin room is small, but that was no problem for us...
The bedding is excellent.
We recommend this apartment.
A little tip: it is better to book most restaurants because there are few and they are quickly full... in particular La Mezzanine... Excellent wine shop "Le nez en le air" mainly offering organic wines (but also beers, spirits...).
